Placement Policy

Placement Registration and Eligibility

  • All MBCCET third-year students interested in the placement/internship program must register with the Placement Department.
  • Approval from respective Head of Department (HOD) is mandatory to participate in the placement process.
  • Registered students must achieve a minimum of 60% score in the aptitude exam conducted by the Placement Department.

Training and Attendance

  • Students must attend internal and external training programs offered by MBCCET without fail.
  • Students are insisted to complete all the tasks of training programmes on time.
  • Unauthorised absence/lateness to training sessions will incur a fine of Rs.500 per day.

Placement Process and Communication

  • Registered students must regularly update themselves with the Placement Department.
  • Students participating in campus selection must make a genuine effort to secure job offer.
  • Students must respond on time and should not take the placement process casually.
  • Students must carry pen, file, CV whenever attending a placement drive
  • Students are insisted to be on time, late commeres will not be permitted for drive, defaulters will not be eligible for Duty Leave
  • Students must bear the transportation expenses for shared pool drive in other campus (Travel fare: Total cost/Number of students)
  • Students must obtain permission from the Placement department before approaching company HR or representatives for any process.
  • There will be a fine of Rs.500/- per student for not attending placement drive after registration for specific drive.
  • Information provided for placement process must be accurate, providing false or inaccurate information in CVs, cover letters, emails or in any other form of communication should be avoided.
  • Defaulters of any above may be opted out of the next three placement drives or permanently removed from the placement procedure.

Rule for attire

  • Students must be in professional attire and must keep grooming standard.
  • Fit Matters: Ensure your clothes fit well and are comfortable, avoiding anything too tight or too loose.
  • Personal Hygiene: Maintain a neat and polished appearance, including hair, beard and nails.
  • Iron Your Clothes: Wrinkled cloth makes a negative impression.
  • Avoid overpowering fragrances and keep accessories minimal.
  • Must wear formal/professional shoes or half-shoes.
  • Must avoid casual, sloppy footwear, chapels.

Cluster Rules

  • Students cannot obtain more than two offer letters in the same cluster.
  • Students with offer letters in cluster 3 can attend Cluster 2 and Cluster 1 drives
  • Students with offer letters in cluster 2 can attend only in Cluster 1 drives
  • Students with offer letters in Cluster 1 cannot attend any other Cluster drives.

Job Offers Through Placement Office

  • Students need to inform the Placement Office by email and in person as soon as the job offer has been accepted with a copy of offer letter.
  • Once a student has accepted an offer and/or joined a company, minimum one-year work commitment with the company is expected.
  • Student once terminated from internship offer or final placement offer is not eligible for campus hiring.
  • The withdrawal of an accepted job offer is a serious breach of the Rules and Regulations laid out by MBCCET and is subject to immediate debarring of the student from the placement process.
  • No student is allowed to directly interact with or contact the company’s executives during or after the selection process unless authorized by the Placement Department.
  • All decisions of the Placement Department is final and binding in this matter.
