The Centre for innovative Technology and Entrepreneurship of MBCCET wishes to foster innovation driven entrepreneurship among the faculty and students through mentoring and training. This inter-disciplinary initiative will provide opportunities to blend passions with the support, structure, and resources to address challenging problems with innovative ideas and researchers to launch new products and commercialize new technologies.
CiTE will undertake research and development projects based on individual or joint proposals from the students of MBCET in collaboration with industries, business establishments, National and International Organizations.
" MBC has been recognized as an IEDC Centre by Kerala Startup Mission on 09.12.2016. " .

 

Aim and Objectives

• To promote the culture of innovation among the stakeholders of MBCCET.
• To develop new products and services, acquire patents and market the products.
• Engage research leading to introduction of innovative products.
• Facilitate venture capital funding.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre(IEDC)

About

" MBCCET has been recognized as an IEDC Centre by Kerala Startup Mission on 09.12.2016. ", IEDC of MBCCET was established to promote the institutional mechanism to create an entrepreneurial culture and to foster the growth of Innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students. The primary focus of IEDC is to make the students think out of the syllabus to identify the real-world problems and to develop solutions.

 ED Club

 Entrepreneurship Development club (EDC) is started functioning in this institution from 2018 and has been registered with the directorate of industries& commerce under the Entrepreneurship development club programme of the Department of industries & commerce, Government of Kerala. It is a nonprofit central facilitating center within the institution to promote the Innovation and entrepreneurship among the students.
